Lauren Alaina Shares Highlights from Her Maui Honeymoon — Including a Golf Course Photo Op with 'Legend' Alice Cooper

"We will never forget this day as long as we live," Alaina wrote of meeting the rock music icon

Lauren Alaina is sharing a glimpse of her honeymoon adventures — including a brush with a music legend.

On Monday, the country singer, 29, posted a photo on Instagram showing her and her new husband, Cam Arnold, posing with Alice Cooper on a golf course in Maui, where they vacationed following their Feb. 4 wedding. Another shot captured Arnold and the 76-year-old rockstar standing together on the green, seemingly in the middle of a round of golf.

"We will never forget this day as long as we live," Alaina wrote in the post's caption of hanging out with Cooper. "Best 18 Cameron has ever played. [Cooper] is a legend."

It seems the "Poison" singer — whom Alaina noted "loves his wife" — also took the time to offer the newlyweds some words of wisdom about marriage. (He and Sheryl Goddard will celebrate their 48th wedding anniversary in March.)

"We are so thankful for the advice and insight he gave us early in our marriage. School’s out forever 🤘🏼," Alaina continued, making a nod to Cooper's classic 1972 anthem, "School's Out."

A person asked in the comments if the couple's meetup with Cooper was "just a random coincidence," to which Alaina replied, "YES!"

Prior to the golf outing post, the "Don't Judge a Woman" singer shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing highlights of her and Arnold's Hawaiian honeymoon. In one image, the couple posed together during a stunning sunset.

Another saw them taking a dip in the pool, as Alaina sported a red, white and blue Budweiser swimsuit. The carousel also featured shots of some of the food and fancy cocktails they enjoyed.

"One week of being MAUI’d to you 🌸," Alaina quipped in the post's caption.

Arnold and Alaina, who got engaged in November 2022, tied the knot in what the country star described as "a big, loud wedding" in Nashville, attended by 450 guests.

Ahead of the nuptials, Alaina joked to PEOPLE of the massive guest list, "Here’s the funny thing: I wanted a small wedding and Cameron wanted a big wedding. So we compromised — and had a 450-person guest list."

"I think it’s just a reflection of how fortunate we are — we have a lot of people who love us and we love a lot of people," she added.

At the time, the "Thicc as Thieves" singer shared how excited she and Arnold were about their honeymoon and the opportunity to explore somewhere new together.

"Neither one of us has been to Hawaii, so we’re very much looking forward to it," she noted.

As for what's next, she said, "We’re going to spend a few years being married, then hopefully down the line a few years we’ll have our kids. We’ll keep growing together."
