Love Actually fans in the colonies finally have their answers!

Thursday night, American fans of the 2003 holiday classic tuned into NBC's star-studded charity Red Nose Day Special, which featured the premiere of the highly anticipated Love Actually mini-sequel. The short followup was created by Love Actually writer/director Richard Curtis, who also happens to be the co-creator of Red Nose Day — Comic Relief's annual charity event. Proceeds go to help disadvantaged children around the world.

The 10-minute clip, titled Red Nose Day Actually, featured most of the major stars from the film — like Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Colin FirthHugh Grant and Andrew Lincoln. And although the heavily hyped follow-up to the beloved holiday-themed romance premiered in the U.K. in March, the U.S. version has some differences.

The biggest one? A new scene featuring Laura Linney's love-lost character Sarah.

When we last saw her, Sarah had chosen caring for her mentally ill brother over dating her sexy work crush Karl (Rodrigo Santoro).

But things have changed for Sarah in the past 14 years. She's still working late and fielding nonstop phone calls, of course — though her "darling" blowing up her cell isn't her brother but her loving husband, played by Patrick Dempsey.

"I love you very much," he tells her — calling from their kitchen where children's artwork hangs in the background.

"I know that but you've got to stop calling me or I'll never get this finished," she responds, with a laugh.

Elsewhere in the special, the rest of the gang's stories had equally charming endings.

Hugh Grant's prime minister is still with Martine McCutcheon's Natalie and still dancing – though he's traded in the Pointer Sisters' "Jump (For My Love)" for Drake's "Hotline Bling."

Juliet and Peter (Keira Knightley and Chiwetel Ejiofor) are still together too — though Andrew Lincoln's Mark has moved on (to new wife Kate Moss).

Jamie (Colin Firth) and his girlfriend (Sienna Guillory) have also gotten married (and had a few kids). And Sam (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and school crush, Joanna (Olivia Olson) also might be heading down the aisle — if Sam's father Daniel (Liam Neeson) approves, of course.

Nighy's Billy Mack, meanwhile, remains the same lovable narcissist. And Rowan Atkinson's Rufus has traded in the jewlrey counter for the Walgreens counter (don't worry — he's still very slow at wrapping gifts).
