Latto And Sexyy Red Announce Young Nudy “Peaches & Eggplants” Remix Coming This Week

Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants” featuring 21 Savage has been a popular track this year, especially among women. This week, Latto and Sexyy Red, two of Hip-Hop’s most sensual rappers, announced that they will be remixing the song.

On Wednesday (Sept. 6), the “Big Energy” rapper shared a post from her TikTok page on Twitter which showed her and the St. Louis spitter twerking to the record in front of a large eggplant. The GRAMMY nominee sported a Black swimsuit and the “Pound Town” artist wore a purple crop top and purple shorts. While dancing, they both slapped each other’s behinds and sang along to the track.

The caption confirmed that the remix will be released this Friday (Sept. 8) with Latto using the peach and eggplant emojis. Red quoted the tweet and wrote “Glabow Glabow!!” with red lipstick emojis. Check out their posts below.

Latto and Sexyy Red’s “Peaches & Eggplants” remix will mark the first time the two have ever collaborated.

The 777 artist has been on a tear this summer, kicking things off with “Put It On Da Floor Again” featuring Cardi B in June. The following month, she linked up with BTS’ Jung Kook for “Seven” which became her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and made her the first rapper in 2023 to reach No. 1 on the long-running chart.

Sexyy Red is a newer face in the game but has quickly become a major movement. Her January release “Pound Town” was labeled an early contender for “Song of the Summer” and got a big boost via a remix featuring Nicki Minaj. She also appeared on NLE Choppa’s “Sl*t Me Out” and one of Kaliii’s many “Area Codes” remixes. She took things to the next level with her June EP Hood Hottest Princess, which boasted the fan-favorite records “SkeeYee,” “Hellcats SRTs,” and “Looking For The H*es.”

Now, she and Latto will put their spin on “Peaches & Eggplants,” which originally came out in February and was part of Young Nudy’s album Gumbo. Check out the “Peaches & Eggplants” music video below.
