After a 2023 jam-packed with performances, Latto continues to be booked and busy in 2024. The ClayCo native announced on Wednesday (March 20) she will be headlining Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash show in Atlanta. The feat is extra special because she is set to make history as the first female artist ever to do so.

“1ST FEMALE TO HEADLINE BIRTHDAY BASH!!! @hot1079atl I’m bringing out hellaaaaaaa special guests link in my bio for tickets!!!!” the 25-year-old wrote on Instagram with a bunch of fire emojis.

The social media clip used to a make the big announcement featured Latto riding around ATL with a megaphone. A brief intermission is included to show her stopping at a drugstore to fix her makeup, but she’s back on the road in no time to head to the radio station for a press conference.

“I love my city. My city had my back. Baby, I’m telling you now. Get your tickets now. Don’t be calling me,” she warned her fans and radio listeners.

The Georgia-raised talent has already been making headlines this year thanks to her viral “Sunday Service” track. Released on Feb. 9, the Go Grizzly, Pooh Beatz, and Bankroll Got It-produced record took the internet by storm due to its subliminal bars and reference-heavy music video.

“Think I’m the sh*t, bi**h, I know it, ho*/ Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin’ though… These bit**hes corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do/ Do you rap or do you tweet?/ ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, bi**h,” Latto spits. Fans think this is a reference to Ice Spice’s “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” where she raps: “ She all on the floor, told her get up.”
