Latin Soul Fest, Mid-Autumn Festival, Harvest Fair, and more things to do this weekend
The weekend is here, and so are events across San Joaquin County. This week, we will bring something for everyone from Astronomy in the Park to the Autumn Festival and Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Prevail.
Here are some events you don't want to miss this weekend.
Latin Soul Fest
The Latin Soul Fest at Oak Grove Regional Park will have taco trucks, live music, and dancing. The music will start at 1 p.m.
Grab your lawn chairs and your cash for the food trucks and parking. Tickets are now on sale for $20. Parking is $6 cash only.

Astronomy in the Park
Want to see the moon, Saturn, and M13 or Star Cluster in Hercules up close through the lens of a telescope? Then head over to Oak Grove Regional Park on Saturday, Sep. 23.
The Stockton Astronomical Society members will again bring out their telescopes for Astronomy in the Park this September. Telescope viewings take place once a month and feature a different deep sky object every time. This also happens on the Saturday closest to the first quarter moon.
Sunset is at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 23: The Moon, Saturn, M13, or Star Cluster in Hercules can be seen then. After 10 p.m., Jupiter, and at 9 p.m., the Deep Sky Object M57 or Ring Nebula can be seen.
The event is free, but the county charges $6 for parking.

Fall Fiesta Fundraiser at the Children's Museum
The Children's Museum of Stockton will host a "Fall Fiesta" fundraiser to support the museum and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
From the performance of Mariachi Chavez Musicians, Ballet Folklorico Raices Mexicana to Mexican food and some margarita drinks.
There will also be a raffle and silent auction. Tickets for the event are on sale for $75.

Mid-Autumn Festival
Head to downtown Stockton Chung Wah Lane for the Mid-Autumn Festival on Saturday, Sept. 23, to celebrate the Asian observance of the fall harvest and the solstice.
There will be a performance by the Confucius Church Dragon Dance Troupe, lots of culture, entertainment, and education. This event is free.
The honorable keynote presenters include Val Acoba, Douglas Hsia, and BE Boonsalat.
An event sponsored by various organizations, including the Chinese Cultural Society of Stockton, Chinese Benevolent Association of Stockton, Little Manila Rising, Downtown Stockton Alliance, Central Valley Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, Interactive Youth Activities with Joy Neas, Red Phoenix Rising Theater, Locke foundation and Chris Rouppet.

Harvest Fair at Jessi's Grove
The Harvest Fair at Jessi's Grove is back for a second year. Head to Jessie’s Grove Winery at 973 W Turner Rd, in Lodi, for a day full of free activities for the family.
From vendors, face painting, and a petting zoo to food, wine, and live music by Rock on Tap. Don’t forget to pack your chairs and blankets.

Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Prevail
Prevail, formerly known as the Women's Center-Youth and Family Services, is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 24.
Here you will find food, performances, art, and many resources. This is a free event for the community.
