LG debuted a see-through OLED TV at the annual tech event CES this week.
"Practically invisible" when turned off, it can be set to resemble a fish tank or fire, among others.
Its transparency can make rooms feel larger or give owners more options with home decor, LG says.

Good news: LG has just the TV for you.
The company showed off what it calls "the world's first wireless transparent OLED TV" at the annual consumer electronics event CES this week.
"LG's transparent OLED gives customers greater freedom to curate their living spaces, completely redefining what's possible and pointing the way to an exciting future for the television industry," Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Home Entertainment Company, said in a press release Monday.
The 4K OLED screen measures 77 inches and can be used to watch TV, of course, but also to broadcast photos and videos with a feature called Always-On-Display.
When you're not watching something, the TV can even take on the appearance of a digital fish tank, a swirling fire, or other digital art that can feature a depth effect.
The TV also has a feature, located at the bottom of the screen, called the T-Bar that can show things like news and weather updates as you watch.

The TV's transparent nature means it doesn't have to just go up against a wall and can better blend into a room's aesthetic, from anywhere in the room, allowing customers more flexibility with their home decor, LG says.
"Practically invisible when turned off, it blends into the environment and frees users from the long-standing problem of what to do with the 'big black screen,'" the press release says. "The TV's beautiful see-through screen also helps to make one's space feel larger, providing a sense of openness."
The TV is expected to hit the market sometime in 2024. LG hasn't said how much it will cost, but LG Signature TVs are known to feature bleeding-edge tech, so don't expect it to be cheap.
LG's rollable OLED TV, also part of the Signature series, became available in 2021 for a whopping $100,000.
