At last, you can now eat sliced mayonnaise

If you’ve ever wondered what could be better than sliced bread, Japan’s Bourbon Company has you covered with their newest product, sliced mayo. Bourbon is best known for creating dessert slices, such as sliced chocolate and apple butter sheets. Picture the individually-wrapped pieces of Kraft American cheese at the supermarket — but mayonnaise. Two flavors of the “sheet-like condiment,” tuna and spicy fish, will be released on March 2. Each package will come with four slices and cost about 200 yen, or about $1.80. As of now, the sliced mayo will only be available through Bourbon Company and not in outside markets. Twitter, of course, was divided on how to feel about the news. One user praised the idea, saying “Sliced mayo exists and I would like to eat a slice. By itself”. Other users were less enthused, with one saying sliced mayo signaled the “end of days” and another saying they “refuse” the concept
