‘Last Man’ Presents: Apocalyptic Gift Guide for the Holidays
“What do you get the person who has everything already,” pondered Phil “Tandy” Miller, Last Man on Earth’s lead character. On Sunday’s episode, the survivors of the apocalypse exchanged gifts for Christmas by playing Secret Santa.
Carol opened her present first. It was a chair that she seemed oddly content with. Contentment turned to crazy, however, when she learned it was a chair from Oprah’s studio audience … and under that chair was J. Lo’s famous green dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards. Gail received as a gift the exact car from the cover of ZZ Top’s famous album “Eliminator.” Phil drew his own name, and nobody knows what he wants better than Phil. So he gave himself a yacht. He added, “I’d like to take a moment to thank its previous owner, the late Pitbull” (referring to the rapper who is, in fact, still alive despite a hoax about his death). The most surprising gift was from Melissa to Todd. She shared that she still had feelings for him and got down on one knee. Her gift was a marriage proposal.
Last Man on Earth airs Sundays at 9:30 on FOX.
