'The Last Dance' viewers can't get enough of Carmen Electra

Episodes 3 and 4 of The Last Dance explored the interesting relationship between Dennis Rodman and Michael Jordan. The Chicago Bulls stars won a NBA championship together in 1998, but that season was not without its dramas. In January of 1998, Rodman was granted a 48 hour leave from the team. He flew to Las Vegas for a mini-vacation with his girlfriend at the time, Carmen Electra. However, he failed to return to the team after his 48 hours were up. “We had to go get his ass out of bed,” recalled Jordan. “and I'm not gonna say what's in his bed and where he was, blah, blah, blah.” Electra was happy to fill in the blanks that Jordan left vacant. “There was a knock on the door,” said Electra, “It's Michael Jordan and I hid. I didn't want him to see me like that, so I'm just, like, hiding behind the couch with covers over me.” The way Electra recalled the story, it is only one in a long series of interesting situations that Rodman helped facilitate. According to Electra, Rodman enjoyed being extremely social and liked clubbing and going to after parties. She joked, “It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis' girlfriend.” While viewers thought the story was cringe-worthy, the thing they were most fascinated with was Electra’s ageless appearance. Many viewers and journalists took to social media to give the 48-year-old actress much respect.

- [? He ?] didn't come back on time. We had to go get his ass out of bed. And I am not going to say what's in his bed, and where he was, and blah, blah, blah.

KYLIE MAR: On episodes three and four of "The Last Dance" Sunday, viewers learned of how Dennis Rodman turned a two-day leave of absence from the Chicago Bulls into several days of partying in Las Vegas with his girlfriend, Carmen Electra, and how embarrassing it was for her when Michael Jordan came to get his AWOL rebounder out of bed.

CARMEN ELECTRA: There was a knock on the door. It's Michael Jordan. And I hid. I didn't-- I didn't want him to see me like that, so I, like-- I'm just, like, hiding behind the couch with covers over me. Come on. You-- we got to get to practice.

KYLIE MAR: While many viewers felt bad about Electra's embarrassment, even more couldn't believe the 48-year-old actress and model looked so good. Sports journalist and political advocate Jemele Hill tweeted, "Carmen Electra must have been in a time capsule somewhere. Still stunning," while a fan wrote, "Carmen Electra hasn't lost a step."

Considering Rodman and Jordan went on to claim the Bulls' sixth title, and Electra was able to successfully build her acting career, it sounds like everybody won, though Electra did admit dating Rodman was an occupational hazard.

CARMEN ELECTRA: He'd like to go out. He'd like to go to clubs. We'd go to his favorite restaurant. Then we'd go to a nightclub. Then we'd go to after hours. It didn't stop. It was definitely an occupational hazard to be Dennis' girlfriend.
