Twitter went nuts Sunday night with the first two episodes of the 10-part ESPN series documenting the rise and dominance of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls

The first episode set the scene with Jordan's arrival from University of North Carolina. It featured former President Barack Obama, introduced as "former Chicago resident," who discussed the difficulty in getting Bulls tickets once Jordan joined the team.

Los Angeles Lakers legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson raved about "The Last Dance" on Twitter, before calling Jordan one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

"I don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight thinking about Scottie's terrible contract. #LastDance," Union wrote.

Wade couldn't wait for the show to start tweeting, "Going bananas bro," just beforehand. It definitely lived up to the hype in his eyes.

"If I had 3 wishes in life. I think I would have asked for #TheLastDance," he wrote, before extolling Jordan's virtues. "Man MJ had it! He had that “IT” He was chosen to be the GOAT."

"Dean Smith telling Michael Jordan to go pro because that’s what was best for him, instead of telling him to stay which would have been best for Dean Smith," tweeted Watt. "That’s a coach you want to play for."

Chicago native John Cusack was all about Jordan, tweeting a shark analogy.

"MJ bulls doc - mj the GOAT - not debatable to anyone who saw him play - it’s like trying to compare a great white shark to anything else in the ocean."

This Twitter celebration will continue next Sunday.
