Last chance to win $3K with a donation to Broomfield Community Foundation

Jun. 30—Through July 4, the community can enter to win $3,000 from Broomfield Community Foundation.

The foundation will have a tent and table set up at the Great American Picnic from 5-10 p.m. Tuesday at Broomfield County Commons Park, 13200 Sheridan Blvd., Broomfield. Find staff, volunteers and members of the Youth Advisory Council set up next to the main stage where the crew will be handing out treats and the community can enter the sweepstakes.

"Our hope is to connect with our neighbors and increase awareness about the work of the Broomfield Community Foundation," Marianna Williamson said in an email. Williamson is the executive director of advancement for the foundation.

The Broomfield Community Foundation, a local philanthropy organization, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. As part of the celebration, the foundation is giving the community the opportunity to win prize money when they donate to the organization.

The website reads: "$3,000 in cash could mean new paddle boards for the family, takeout from your favorite Broomfield restaurants every single night of the week or getting the family out of town for a road trip or mountain getaway."

To enter the sweepstakes, purchase tickets at bit.ly/3Oq8Jv6 or on-site Tuesday at the Great American Picnic. All donations will benefit the Broomfield Community Foundation's mission to continue supporting local nonprofits. The winner will be drawn and notified on July 12 (winner does not need to be present).

Since 1993, the foundation has invested more than $4 million into the local community, assembled a $1.7 million community endowment and strengthened more than 100 community nonprofits. Money used to purchase sweepstake tickets will go towards furthering the foundation's mission to continue supporting the Broomfield community.
