Five suspects previously arrested in connection with a January Las Vegas home invasion have now been charged with murder after a man they allegedly pistol-whipped died from his injuries, according to reports.

Raven Queen, Antonio Washington, Denzale Lee, Howard Cavitt and Lamonte Butler were all charged with murder of a person 60 years or older, according to court records, in addition to several other charges. Court records indicate that this is the fourth superseding indictment filed in this case.

On Jan. 12, Hong Shu Liu, 78, was attacked in his home along with his wife, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. According to court documents obtained by the paper, as well as KLAS and KSNV, Liu was bound and pistol-whipped while his wife’s head was forced underwater.

Liu died Sept. 17, according to his obituary.

Prosecutors allege in an indictment that Queen organized a series of violent burglaries and home invasions, the Review-Journal reported. She faces a total of 22 charges including, murder, attempted murder and kidnapping, according to court records.

Police said there were as many as 11 burglaries committed, KLAS reported. A total of eight people are charged in connection with the spree, but only Queen, Washington, Lee, Cavitt and Butler are charged with murder in the Jan. 11 incident.

KLAS reported that prosecutors say Queen remained outside Liu’s home while acting as a lookout.

An arraignment for the indictment was scheduled for Wednesday, and a calendar call is scheduled for Oct. 30. It is unclear if any of the suspects have retained an attorney to speak on their behalf.
