Larry Nassar's first male accuser comes forward: 'I hope he rots in hell'

Jacob Moore, a freshman at the University of Michigan, last week became the first male gymnast to publicly accuse disgraced doctor Larry Nassar of sexual abuse.

This week, Moore spoke out for the first time, and had harsh words for the former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor who abused more than 200 young women and girls.

“I hope he rots in hell,” Moore said in an interview with the Today Show:

Moore’s older sister, Kamerin Moore, is a plaintiff in the lawsuit against Nassar, USA Gymnastics and Michigan State. Kamerin, in her victim impact statement at Nassar’s sentencing hearing in January, accused Nassar of also abusing her younger brother.

Now Jacob has come forward himself and joined the suit. In one of six amended complaints filed last Wednesday in federal court, Jacob claims he went to see Nassar for a shoulder injury in 2016, but that Nassar treated it with acupuncture to Jacob’s “pubic area.”

The suit also alleges that during treatment, in the basement of Nassar’s home, Nassar pulled down Jacob’s pants and exposed him to an underage female gymnast who was also present in the room.

“Coming out of the treatment, I felt very uncomfortable,” Moore said in the Today Show interview.

Nassar has been sentenced by various courts to up to 300 years in prison. After hearing from over 150 victims in January, Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina gave Nassar 40-175 years, and told him, “I just signed your death warrant.”
