LaNisha Cole Celebrates Thanksgiving with Daughter Onyx: 'Thankful for My Big Girl'

The model and photographer shares her daughter with Nick Cannon

LaNisha Cole is celebrating Thanksgiving with her favorite person.

On Thursday, the model and photographer shared a series of posts to her Instagram Stories dedicated to daughter Onyx Ice, 14 months, whom she shares with Nick Cannon.

"Thankful for my big girl," Cole, 41, captioned the first adorable shot, which showed her daughter sitting on a wooden bench as she sported a matching floral set consisting of a skirt and tee.

She went on to post a video of Onyx, who had a big smile on her face as she walked toward the camera. "Heading to dinner," Cole wrote.

Earlier in the day, the mother of one shared two videos of a recipe she and her daughter were trying out for the holiday. "Happy Thanksgiving! Been craving some pineapple upside down cake so Onyx and I are going to make one," Cole noted in the text, adding cake and pineapple emojis.

Prior to the feast-filled holiday, Onyx got all decked out for Halloween. This year, Onyx dressed in two cute costumes as she enjoyed festivities throughout the weekend.

Sharing photos and video footage of the special time on Instagram, the proud mom and boyfriend Brian Paul Kuba showed the toddler dressed as both a bee and a cow. "HAPPY Halloween! 🐝❤️🐄," Cole captioned the shots.

On an episode of The Jason Lee Podcast in May, Cannon, 43, revealed that out of all of his children, Onyx is "probably the child that I spend the most time with."

"I'm with her at least three times a week, for the full day. But I don't put that out there in the media, social media, [because] it's not for them," the Masked Singer host leveled.

Cannon was proud to report, "LaNisha and I have a super-strong understanding, and our co-parenting operation is so solid."

The multi-hyphenate star went on to explain that the two abide by a schedule that works for them for the time being. "If you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, my daughter is right next to me, whether I'm on set," he said of Onyx.

He added, "I got a nursery in my office. I'm literally gonna leave here to make sure that I can spend the most time with her — not against all my other kids because all my other kids, they're in school, they're babies, as well as Onyx — but the fact that I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have, really, as equal amount of time as she does."

Cannon is a father of 12 and shares twins Monroe and Moroccan, 12, with ex Mariah Carey, whom he was married to from 2008 to 2016. He is also a father to sons Golden Sagon, 6½, and Rise Messiah, 14 months, plus daughter Powerful Queen, 2½, with Brittany Bell.

He also shares twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 2, plus 1-year-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa, as well as son Legendary Love, 16 months, with Bre Tiesi. Additionally, he's dad to two children with Alyssa Scott: son Zen, who died at 5 months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie, 11 months.

Cannon spent at least part of his Thanksgiving with Tiesi, 32, and their son Legendary, appearing in several snaps on the model's Instagram Stories.
