Did you know there’s a chance you’ll run into Lana Del Rey at a Halloween party in Los Angeles?

Over the weekend, the songstress, 38, ran into a fan who was dressed up as her from the viral photos of her working a shift at Waffle House at a Halloween party in L.A. The fan, makeup artist Sandy Ganzer, shared a selfie on Instagram of her posing side-by-side with the singer-songwriter and fun shots of her costume.

Ganzer posted a carousel of the photos on Instagram on Monday, which she revealed in the caption that the “A&W” singer took herself. The two smiled and posed next to one another, with Ganzer wearing her spot-on costume complete with the performer’s signature eye liner and a “Lana” Waffle House nametag and the singer styled in a black jacket, cowboy hat and braids.

Ganzer also shared a photo of her full look — featuring a black skirt similar to Del Rey’s and a Pepsi bottle as a prop — and posted a reference photo from the star’s shift to compare.

In the caption, Ganzer joked about how shocked she was to run into the Grammy-nominated artist while wearing the makeshift costume she pieced together. She wrote, “Waffle House employee shirt purchased on Ebay : $28.60 Pepsi bottle and fun little straw purchased last minute at CVS: $9 Waffle House “Lana” name tag sticker: $5.59 Attending a halloween party dressed as “Lana Del Rey kicking’ it at Waffle House”and she’s there in real life: Priceless.”

Ganzer added that the “Candy Necklace” singer loved the bit. “Thank you for having a sense of humor about it @honeymoon, you’re a Queen,” she wrote.

In the comments, dozens of friends and fans chimed in about how serendipitous and “iconic” the interaction was. “I just want to say thank you 🙏🏻 the internet needed this,” one friend said, while another wrote, “Truly, the queen of Halloween 🎃.”

Fan-captured photos and footage of the alternative star went viral in July of her moonlighting as a waitress in an Alabama Waffle House. In the shots, she was seen dressed in uniform with her hair pulled back as she worked behind the counter, served coffee to patrons and chatted with fans who stopped in or brought merchandise to sign.

In a September interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the “Video Games” artist explained the story behind the internet-famous photos of her at the Southern diner in Florence, Alabama.

“We were on our third hour, and the servers asked, ‘Do you guys want shirts?’” she told the outlet. “Hell yeah! We were thrilled.”

“This guy, a regular, comes in every day and orders two things, so they were like, ‘Just go get it for him!’ I brought him a Coke. No ice. And an empty cup,” she said, explaining that it was for his chewing tobacco.

She also reflected that the moment wasn’t that serious and wished her latest album Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd?. “had gone as viral.” The star continued, “I woke up to, like, 10,000 texts the next morning — some from folks I had not heard from for 10 years. ‘Saw your picture at the Waffle House!’ I was like, ‘Did you hear my new album?’”

In March, the singer-songwriter released her ninth studio album to acclaim. She promoted the record out on the road this summer with headlining sets at festivals, several one-off shows and a 10-date mini tour of mid-sized cities largely across the South.
