Weekend one of Coachella 2024 might have been less than a week ago, but headliner Lana Del Rey is taking the time to walk down memory lane. On April 16, the star posted a series of snippets from her performance and penned a long and heartfelt letter to her team — during which she also put her former, long-time tour manager on blast for quitting right before the festival.

Four days after her performance, Lana Del Rey took to Instagram to share a carousel of pictures from her first Coachella 2024 set. Del Rey started her post sharing pictures of herself with Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, and Jack Antonoff — the three guests she brought out during weekend one of the festival — and went on to include more snaps with her team from the night and prep.

“Thank you guys. For f*cking everything,” Del Rey captioned the post, sharing insight from the prep, even sharing she “caught laryngitis that literally left just a few hours before [she] hit the stage.” Del Rey went on to give her team members individual shoutouts, before calling out her former tour manager for quitting.

“[Thank you,] Emily, for stepping up as tour manager when Pete quit for no reason after 15 years because he was b*tt hurt that I got 10 comped bikes for free from Wally and randomly decided he was more of a stage designer than a tour manager,” the star’s captions read.

Del Rey continued saying she “never got a phone call” from Pete and “probably never will.” She graciously added that she is “still grateful for the 15 years” before packing in another jab: “No worries – 37 days was more than enough time to put together an entire headlining set all by ourselves. Not stressful at all. Way to go, Emily, you f*cking killed it with grace.”

Del Rey signed off the post, writing: “Please send me an email if you decide to quit this year - 15 years is a long time for us, too,” with a smiling emoji. (In case you need a refresher, this Pete is the same tour manager Del Rey famously threw plates at in 2015 after a performance in Dallas was canceled.)
