The Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival returns in February with two special events

The annual Lambertville New Hope Winter Festival, a long-running community tradition, returns in February with two fundraising events benefitting local food banks.

The festival kicks off with a sold-out concert featuring actor and musician, Micky Dolenz, who is best known as a singer and drummer with The Monkees. Hosted at the New Hope Winery, the concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Feb. 2.

If you weren’t lucky enough to secure a seat to the concert before it sold out, tickets are still available to the festival’s chili cook-off. Here are the details:

Chili cook-off set for February

The festival’s annual chili cook-off competition takes place at Triumph Brewery in New Hope on Sunday, Feb. 4 from noon to 3 p.m.

It features more than 10 local restaurants all competing for the title of Winter Festival’s 2024 Chili Cook-off Champion, along with cash prizes for first through third place in the judge’s and people’s choice award winners.

Which restaurants are competing in the cook-off?

Some of the participating restaurants include Triumph New Hope, Olde Stone Steakhouse, John and Peters, Little Radish Kitchen, Greenhouse, Riverhouse at Odette's, Havana and Brick Farm Tavern, among others.

How to attend the chili cook-off?

Tickets can be purchased online and includes all-you-can-eat chili, beer and a 2024 commemorative pint glass. They are $60 (with beer) and $40 9without beer)

Triumph Brewery is located at 400 Union Square Drive in New Hope.
