Lala Kent Says She Does 'Not Recognize' the Version of Katie Maloney Seen on “VPR” Season 11: She's a 'Bobblehead'

Lala Kent insisted that her 'Vanderpump Rules' costar Katie Maloney was "shying away" from being truthful about her issues with Ariana Madix

Lala Kent doesn’t appreciate the version of Katie Maloney seen on Vanderpump Rules season 11.

On the Vanderpump Rules after show on May 14, following her on-air reunion fight with Katie, Lala said of her costar, “She was not very honest this season and I don't recognize that Katie, like the reason why she and I really freaking connect is because we are no bulls---.”

“You may not like what comes out of our mouths. It may be harsh or aggressive, but like, this is what it is,” Lala, 33, added.

However, Katie, 37, claimed that she wasn’t putting on the show for the cameras especially when it came to her friendship with Ariana Madix, saying, “If I'm not genuinely upset with somebody, at that time, in the moment, I'm not going to get myself upset with them. It’s not going to happen.”

Lala insisted that her costar was “shying away” from being truthful about her issues with Ariana.

Katie called her disagreement with “a ridiculous fight” but Lala claimed her former friend changed while filming.

“I'm like we've had discussions, you and I, Katie, about the group being like bobbleheads, that Ariana and Tom surround themselves with. They both do,” she said. “And now you've turned into one. How do I talk to you? How do I f—ing talk to you? While she had said many times that Ariana needed to be out of the house, that there was no reason why she shouldn't be in that house still. Then when cameras picked up it was like the complete opposite.”

“Everything Ariana was saying made perfect sense to Katie,” she added.

After the VPR reunion — which saw the pair fight after Lala brought up an alleged private conversation between her and Katie and her costar refused to discuss their issues on camera — Katie shared a message on her Instagram Stories.

“I’m someone who has suffered from imposters [sic] syndrome for as long as I have known myself. Hence why I was apprehensive about opening the sandwich shop on my own,” she shared.

She shared that she was both “very supportive” of Ariana’s opportunities and “extremely sensitive” to her friend’s emotions post Scandoval.

“I was also dealing with immense insecurity about what I could take on and simply didn’t want to put that on her. I had an emotional response that didn’t feel appropriate bring to her front door so I went to where I felt safe. Or where I thought was safe,” she added.

She added that she had “the appropriate conversation” with Madix and resolved their issues.

“To know me is to know I value trust, loyalty and integrity,” she concluded.
