Most cast members from Vanderpump Rules were probably nervous about filming Season 11. Tom Sandoval created Scandoval, but he didn’t seem as nervous as I would have expected. He was probably too busy blaming James Kennedy for hooking up with his ex, Kristen Doute, a decade ago. One person who was anxious about filming? Lala Kent.

“Before we went to start filming Season 11, I was very, very nervous,” Lala said. “I just felt like we had kind of hit the high note, and I was like, where do we go from here?” Well, it sounds like Lala wasn’t thrilled with the latest episodes of Pump Rules. So, hopefully, the show has an upswing in the energy department.

Lala calls out VPR for inducing naps

During the February 14 episode of her Give Them Lala podcast, she addressed the sleepy situation. Lala stated that the VPR premiere “was great.” But the following episodes? “I’m always real and I’m always honest,” she said. “The season’s snoozy right now.”

She continued, “The last two episodes are snoozy. I feel like I have to acknowledge that. Because I don’t want you guys to think that I’m living in La La Land or hustling you,” Lala added.

But there is hope, Pump Rules fans. “I want you to remember, we’re trying to repair something that is very, very broken,” Lala explained. “So the last two episodes are very much setting the groundwork for what this season is going to be like.”

Lala added that since no one on the cast wanted to film with Sandoval, it felt “awkward.” Duh! “We’re not hanging out with him at this point in time,” Lala said. “So yes, it’s a little bit like, why isn’t anything happening? Well, let me tell you something. The group is extremely fractured three episodes in.”

She continued, “Movement starts happening. Time starts passing. Perspective. Lisa [Vanderpump] steps in and sheds some light. Things do start shifting.” Lala added, “But yes, I just wanted to acknowledge that. And it is very annoying.”

Hopefully, the season will gel. Otherwise, Sandoval will have to accept that he not only broke his relationship with Ariana Madix. But he possibly ruined Pump Rules, too.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c. on Bravo.
