Lala Kent Responds to Rumors She Bought Property in the Valley To Get on the Show

Is Lala Kent eyeing a spot on The Valley? The fact that she just bought a house in the San Fernando Valley definitely makes it seem that way. However, the Vanderpump Rules star is adamant that’s not the case. Lala made it clear on a recent episode of her podcast, Give Them Lala, that her recent real estate purchase wasn’t her way of throwing her hat into the ring for The Valley Season 2. She’s not that desperate.

Of course, all eyes are on the cast of VPR as Season 11 comes to a close and the future remains uncertain. Sources close to production claim that Season 12 is happening. Whether or not folks like Lala or Scheana Shay will be a part of the cast is to be determined. Still, Lala said she didn’t buy a house in the Valley to increase her chances of landing on the show.

“Let me be very clear,” Lala said. “I bought my house in the valley because it’s all I could afford. I would have liked to have been in the Beverly Hills flats, bitch, but I can’t afford it…yet.”

She continued, “I did not move to the valley because I want to be on The Valley. I moved there because that’s what I could afford.”

That’s a reasonable excuse. We all know that real estate isn’t cheap, and buying a house anywhere is a feat in itself. But, even if Lala did want a spot on The Valley thanks to her new zip code, it’s unclear if anyone on the cast actually wants her there.

For example, Jax Taylor recently said on his podcast that he doesn’t think any more VPR alums should jump over to The Valley. He argued that it would be unfair to the cast of The Valley. So, it’s probably a good thing Lala’s move was just a coincidence.
