Lakefront Brewery's Fall Fest of Ale is back for the first time since 2019

Lakefront Brewery is hosting their free outdoor Fall Fest of Ale this weekend for the first time since 2019. It's the return of cider, live music and other fun activities for kids too. Here's what you need to know:

Where is the festival?

Lakefront Brewery, Inc, at 1872 N. Commerce St.

When is the festival?

The festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10. This is a rain or shine event and will be moved indoors if needed.

What's on the menu?

Lakefront Brewery is serving up brews on tap as well as specialty drinks like Hot Apple Cider, Apple Cider Grist and Fall Harvest Bloody Mary.

Pete McDermott of Ladybird and former Nashville singer-songwriter Maxwell James will play music throughout the day.

Are there any kid-friendly activities?

Yes, kids can take part in a fall-themed photo op and glitter tattoos. Shaky Hands Co-Op will also be doing a live screen-printing of exclusive fest of ale shirts.

What's the weather on Sunday?

Milwaukee's forecast calls for temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s with partly cloudy skies and no precipitation, said Benjamin Sheppard, meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
