Lake Effect Snow Slams Buffalo Area

A “band of heavy lake effect snow” moved across Buffalo, New York, and the surrounding area on Saturday morning, December 17, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Up to nine inches of snowfall in some parts of the region, the NWS reported.

Video posted by Twitter user @JamesSperduti, which they said was captured in West Seneca, on Saturday, shows snowflakes falling.
