Lainey Wilson was the big winner at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards. She claimed Entertainer of the Year for the first time at this event just a few months after winning the same prize at the Country Music Association Awards last fall. But that wasn’t all. She also claimed Female Artist of the Year for the second year in a row and Musical Event of the Year for “Save Me,” her collab with Jelly Roll. Check out the complete list of winners here.

Technically the biggest winner of the night, though, was Chris Stapleton. Going into the ceremony, our racetrack odds had him winning just one award: Artist-Songwriter of the Year. We were right about that, but he took us by surprise in two other races that were expected to go to Luke Combs. Stapleton claimed Album of the Year as artist and producer of “Higher”; that’s his fourth album to collect the prize. And he also won Male Artist of the Year for the fourth time. That gave Stapleton a total of four wins across three categories.

Combs didn’t come away empty-handed, though. His crossover smash hit cover of Tracy Chapman‘s “Fast Car” won Single of the Year. Other winners on Thursday night included Dan and Shay taking Duo of the Year for the fourth time and Old Dominion claiming Group of the Year for the seventh year in a row. Jordan Davis took us by surprise by winning Song of the Year for “Next Thing You Know.” What did you think of the winners?
