A sextet comprising two decades and three dozen No. 1 hits of country stardom have been announced as performers at the 2024 CMT Awards.

Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson and Sam Hunt will join host Kelsea Ballerini as performers at the festivities, which will air live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on April 7 from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Jelly Roll returns to Austin after simultaneously having his genre and pop-crossover breakout moment at 2023's festivities for a performance. Urban also plays the CMT Music Awards for a record-breaking 20th time with a debut performance of "Straight Line," the lead single from his forthcoming album.

Country will also be "cool again" at the CMT Music Awards, as Wilson's globe-trotting acclaim and her latest single arrive onstage at the Moody Center. Hunt and Zimmerman, two country stars separated by a decade of breakout stardom, will also perform new songs.

The 2024 CMT Music Awards voting is open to fans at vote.cmt.com through April 1. Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Ballerini, Wilson and Megan Moroney lead the nominations with three each.

Fourteen first-time nominees join the quintet listed above. They include a diverse array of artists, including Amber Riley, Ashley Cooke, Bret Michaels, Chayce Beckham, Hozier, Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., Tyler Childers, Warren Zeiders and Zach Bryan. Notably, too, four 2024 CMT Next Women of Country members, Anne Wilson, Ella Langley, tThe Castellows and Tigirlily Gold are up for their first-ever awards.
