Stephen Colletti has had quite a dating history. Longtime fans no doubt remember when he dated his Laguna Beach co-star, Kristin Cavallari. Stephen would go on to date another co-star, Lauren Conrad. From there, Stephen ended up with Hayden Panettiere until 2008.
His last major public relationship would be from 2011-2013, once again with a co-star; this time, it was Chelsea Kane. From there, his relationships stayed pretty quiet. In 2022, fans speculated as to whether a spark still existed with Kristin after she hosted a Laguna Beach rewatch podcast with Stephen.
Kristin told Page Six, “There’s nothing romantic happening with us,” and she was correct. Soon, Stephen would find a more fervent flame with Alex Weaver. The reality TV star and NASCAR reporter made their relationship Instagram official in August 2022.
Sorry Laguna Beach fans, Stephen is taken
Now, after over a year of dating, Stephen proposed to Alex and the two are engaged. The two made the proposal public via a joint Instagram post. The post showed the couple sitting on a brick wall in Rome, cuddled up and sharing a kiss. Also featured in the post was the impressive gem on Alex’s finger.
Stephen bought a gold band with an enormous oval-shaped diamond, and Alex displayed it proudly next to her man. She wrote on the post, “Yes! Forever.” Commenters on the post were all too supportive. Many celebrities popped in to give their congrats, such as Kate Voegele, who wrote, “Ahhhhh congratulations you guys!!! Soooo happy for you!!
”
One fan wrote, “Laguna beach fans hearts are broken,” presumably half-joking. Nonetheless, other fans agreed, with one replying, “One Tree Hill Fans are too! I loved him in both
.” Despite people’s hopes of shipping being ruined, fans were still genuinely happy for Stephen and Alex.
