Officially titled “Lady Gaga: A Little Golden Book Biography,” the 24-page children’s book isn’t due out until January 2, but it’s already appearing on Amazon’s best-selling children’s books list thanks to a host of pre-orders online (you can pre-order your own copy here).

Inspired by her big dreams, hard work ethic and eventual rise to superstardom, the book chronicles every step of Gaga’s career, from playing open mic nights, to appearing on stage at the Grammys and Oscars. The book also tells the story of how the young Stefani Joanne Germanotta got the name “Gaga” (and the famous rock band that inspired it). And it traces Gaga’s success in both music and acting, with a section on her work in A Star Is Born.

The new Lady Gaga Little Golden Book biography is written by Michael Joosten, an LGBTQ advocate and best-selling children’s book author (we’ve bought his 2019 board book, “My Two Dads and Me,” as gifts on multiple occasions).

The illustrations for Gaga’s children’s book, meantime, are by Indonesian artist Laura Catrinella, who has worked on a number of books for kids and young adults.

This Little Golden Book about Lady Gaga is an officially-licensed release and follows other similar releases from Golden Books, including a biography about Taylor Swift and a picture book on Dolly Parton.
