Lady Gaga was spotted in a futuristic get up with matching platform heels on Thursday for the premiere of her HBO Original concert film “Gaga Chromatica Ball” at Nya Studios in Los Angeles.
The edgy shoes featured an all-white patent leather design boosted by a thick platform sole that measured roughly 3 inches. A black outsole was present underneath the boots, which were completed by a towering medium-sized sharp heel estimated to be between 5 to 6 inches in height. The boots served as a complementary piece to her car part-constructed ensemble, which was characterized by its one-shoulder design and extended bottom. Styled for the premiere by Hunter Clem, where guests sipped on Chromatica-themed cocktails throughout the night featuring queer-owned Chrome Horse Society Tequila, Belvedere Vodka and Poppi sparking prebiotic sodas, the star completed her look with bright makeup that consisted of reddish-orange eyeshadow and red lipstick. Switching it up from her usual blond tresses, Gaga debuted a new dark brunette style with high bangs for the event.
Bold shoes with extreme heights have been a constant for the “Bad Romance” singer since her debut in 2008. For her 38th birthday at Giorgio Baldi in March, she wore a pair of punk-inspired boots that featured an 8 inch heel, a lace-up style and a rounded toe in the front. Gaga also sported a similar style in New York City this past October after a performance with the Rolling Stones for their Hackney Diamonds album release party, where she was spotted wearing a black 8-inch pair of Pleaser boots that featured side zippers and thin laces. She was previously seen wearing a nearly identical pair during a November 2021 outing in NYC.
Gaga Chromatica Ball is an HBO-exclusive concert film that takes fans through the Los Angeles stop of her 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour at Dodger Stadium. The film premieres Saturday via HBO, and will be available to stream on Max. Later on this year, Gaga will hit the big screen for her musical psychological thriller “Joker: Folie à Deux,” in which she’ll portray Harley Quinn next to Joaquin Phoenix. Directed by Todd Philips, the film is set for a release date of Oct. 4.
