U2 have been reigning over the new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas for their ongoing “U2:UV Achtung Baby” residency, and they got a little help from Lady Gaga during their show on Wednesday night (October 25th).
Bono introduced the evening’s surprise guest as “the most audacious, vivacious woman in any room she’s ever in. Would you welcome to our turntable, the divine — the divinyl! — Lady Gaga.”
Gaga and the band sang “Shallow,” naturally, as well as two U2 classics: “All I Want Is You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” Bono continued to praise the pop star mid-set: “Take it to the Elvis chapel!” he yelled to her during “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” adding: “You are the vestal virgin of Las Vegas!”
Gaga appeared to honor Bono herself, dressed in a similar leather jacket and sunglasses. See some fan-captured clips of the duets below.
U2 just extended their Sphere residency into February 2024, and you can find tickets here.
This marks the second time in just under a week that Gaga has joined some rock legends on stage, having just performed with The Rolling Stones during their Hackney Diamonds release party in New York.
