LA Knight says having matches with huge stakes makes live events even more fun.

WWE sparked some controversy by having two matches in both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments take place at live events over the weekend. The decision to have LA Knight and Tiffany Stratton compete at live events, rather than having their matches air on television, was widely criticized.

LA Knight took to Twitter to respond to the criticism, as he noted that he appreciated everything saying that his match should have been on television. However, he wrote that there was no need to throw live event crowds under the bus.

Knight wrote that live events are where the WWE roster has as much fun as possible. He also stated that having a match with huge implications made the live events even more fun.

LA Knight is set to face Tama Tonga in the next round of the King of the Ring tournament. They will clash on the May 17 episode of WWE SmackDown.

The King of the Ring tournament will continue on the May 13 episode of WWE RAW. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
