Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Are 'Beyond Just Having Fun' and 'Push Each Other to Be Better' (Source)

A source tells PEOPLE that 'The Kardashians' star and the 'Wonka' actor are "super serious and very involved with each other’s day-to-day lives"

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are bringing out the best in each other!

On the heels of their joint appearance at the 2024 Golden Globes, a source tells PEOPLE that The Kardashians star, 26, and the Wonka actor, 27, “may seem like opposites but they really do connect on a lot” including music, friends and family.

“They’re both real with each other and things have been easy and fun,” the insider shares. “Timothée reminds Kylie to live in a very ‘present' way, and she really likes that about him. They both push each other to be better people and that’s a constant thing in their relationship.”

The source adds that they “are super serious and very involved with each other’s day to day lives, family on both sides included,” adding, “On Kylie’s side, Kris [Jenner] and Kim [Kardashian] are especially supportive and think there’s so much potential.”

Chalamet’s family is equally supportive of the coupling. The source shares, “His family also sees how happy she makes him. They’re definitely beyond the ‘just having fun’ point of the relationship. Everyone on both sides sees definite potential for something real here.”

“They love dinners at home and nights in with family and close friends," the source adds.

Reps for Jenner and Chalamet did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

In recent months, the pair — who first sparked romance rumors in April — has become increasingly public about their relationship. On Sunday, they were spotted kissing during the Golden Globes, where Chalamet was nominated for his role in Wonka.

Last month, Chalamet seemingly attended the reality TV family's annual Christmas Eve soirée amid his romance with Jenner. In an image posted on a fan Instagram account, a party guest who appeared to be Chalamet could be seen chatting with Jenner in the background of a Snapchat posted by Landon Barker, Kourtney Kardashian Barker's 20-year-old stepson.

Jenner also supported the Dune 2 star at the Los Angeles premiere of Wonka earlier December. While she didn't walk the red carpet with Chalamet, she and mom Kris slipped into the theater after the film's opening credits, a source told PEOPLE at the time.

Following the movie premiere, another source told PEOPLE that Jenner is "incredibly happy" with Chalamet and calls him “her boyfriend.” The insider said Chalamet is “in awe of everything" that Jenner "is accomplishing” and “thinks she is an amazing mom" to Stormi and son Aire Webster, 23 months.

“He is very supportive of her career and she of his,” the source also noted. “They both try to attend important events for each other."

Additionally, the insider said the Little Women star is "very good" for Jenner, adding, "Since dating him, she seems very content, relaxed and focused. Her family loves him."
