Kylie Jenner and her sisters slam YouTuber behind 'absolutely disgusting' Travis Scott cheating prank

A popular YouTuber’s prank swiftly backfired when Kylie Jenner stepped in to slam him for attempting to portray her partner, Travis Scott, as a cheater. Sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian — and Scott himself — then backed her up with takedowns of their own.

The “experiment” first surfaced as a staged photo in which the YouTuber, 20-year-old Christian Adam, disguised himself as Scott and hired faux paparazzi to photograph him canoodling on a balcony with an unidentified woman in a swimsuit. He even put a TMZ watermark on the photo before leaking it.

Shortly after the photo went viral, Adam uploaded a 17-minute video to YouTube revealing it was all a stunt. He included behind-the-scenes footage and declared that his mission was to fool the world and demonstrate that no one should believe anything they see on the internet.

Adam included a disclaimer with the video, claiming the goal of the video was not to “intentionally hurt Travis Scott, Kylie Jenner or the entire Kardashian family in ANY way shape or form,” but rather to prove how “gullible” the internet can be.

But the famous family wasn’t having any of it. Jenner was the first to denounce the YouTuber’s so-called harmless intentions. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, the makeup mogul posted a screenshot of the gotcha moment and wrote, “IDK [I don’t know] if this is really a social experiment to some people but you’re messing with real people, real relationships, real family. I’m happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real.”

Kim Kardashian wasn’t too amused, either. She retweeted Adam and called his prank “absolutely disgusting” and “really damaging to relationships,” while Khloé Kardashian called Adam’s prank “filth.”

Then the subject of the stunt, Scott, stepped in to show Adam that even though he disapproved of the video, he was letting the negativity roll off his back.

“Trolls always wanna create some fake s*** to destroy real love,” Scott wrote on his Instagram Stories. “GOING OVER BOARD TO MAKE S*** LOOK LIKE IS NOT IS EVIL. I hate acknowledging s***. But quit [trying] to take joy from s*** that’s good.

“I pray god blocks out all evil,” he continued before adding that he was going “BACK TO CELEBRATING!!!!”

But it might be Adam’s response to the whole fiasco that’s the most telling of all. In his Instagram Stories, the prankster posted a screenshot of a disapproving comment from Scott, in which the rapper writes “Shaking my f***ing head,” along with a photo of Adam looking overjoyed at the attention — seemingly without any acknowledgment of the harm he caused.

Commenters made sure to let Adam know how they felt about the negative attention his prank received from the family, telling him to “get a life” and saying, “If I was Kylie, I’d be swinging.”
