Kylie Jenner channels the Vіrgіn Mary in cameo for boyfriend Travis Scott's 'Stop Trying to Be God' music video

If you’ve been reading Forbes, you know that pretty much everything Kylie Jenner touches these days turns to gold. It’s fitting, then, that she’s given a 24-karat makeover for “Stop Trying to Be God,” the just-released music video from boyfriend Travis Scott‘s new Astroworld album.

In the video, which is heavy on religious themes, the 20-year-old Jenner makes two brief cameos as a gilded, celestial creature with Vіrgіn-Mary-meets-Tinker-Bell vibes. Early on, her glowing — and seemingly nude — figure is seen cradling Scott, with whom she shares 6-month-old daughter Stormi Webster.

The video ends with a scene featuring Jenner — still glowing but now clad in a metallic gown — clutching a lamb in a manger.

Scott — who also appears as a bearded, God-like figure in the biblical-themed shoot — is clearly trying to keep his new project a family affair. Along with Jenner’s cameo, the rapper posted a photo of baby Stormi promoting his album in an Astroworld onesie. Kris Jenner must be so proud.
