Kylie Jenner Announces New Clothing Line, Khy — Everything We Know So Far

The cosmetics mogul announced that she's expanding her business to the fashion world

Kylie Jenner is expanding her business empire.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder, 26, announced her latest business venture on Instagram Tuesday, introducing to her followers that she's working on her own clothing line, Khy.

In Jenner’s recent post, she is posed in a long leather trench coat and a pair of bright red pumps. As she sat on the beige carpeted floor, she looked at the camera in a soft bronzed makeup look, including a deep burgundy lipgloss. “Meet khy,” Jenner simply wrote in the caption.

The Kardashians star also tagged the new Instagram account for Khy, which directs users to the brand’s new social media presence. The official page for Khy has a single photo of Jenner in the same trench coat. Jenner’s back is towards the camera, displaying a better look at the leather coat, which features a high collar, cinched waist and balloon-like sleeves. “Coming soon. Sign up at khy.com," reads the first post.

She also updated her Instagram bio, adding the link to the brand’s newly launched site. The link is also featured on the brand’s account with the teasing statement “Coming Soon.”

Fans who check out the site can sign up for “early access.” However, neither the official release date nor the early access date has been announced.

Fans flooded the comment section sharing their excitement about the mom of two's latest business pursuit. One wrote, “i think i love khy.” Celebrity hairstylist Jesus Guerrero added, “Nice to meet you khy !”

One fan of the model speculated that Jenner’s recent announcement was related to something Jenner’s niece, North West, said during a social media livestream. “Is this the brand north was talking about on live? hahahaa 👀,” commented the user.

While some fans may have caught onto the possible mention of the brand, Puck News first reported in July that the Khy founder was working with frequent Kardashian collaborators Emma and Jens Grede. The married business couple also works with Kris Jenner and Kim and Khloé Kardashian on SKIMS and Good American.

Jenner’s venture into the fashion industry follows her 2012 collaboration with PacSun and her older sister, Kendall Jenner for a brand within the clothing store.

Three years later, Jenner turned to the cosmetic industry and launched Kylie Cosmetics with three lip kits that accelerated her career. Four years after the initial launch, Forbes put her on the cover as the youngest self-made female billionaire, thanks to the brand's success digitally and in Ulta stores. Later that year, she sold a majority stake to Coty in 2019.

In 2021, Jenner and Coty relaunched the brand with "all new formulas that are clean and vegan."

Jenner later revealed her future plans for Kylie Cosmetic, saying the empire is for her daughter Stormi, 4, if she wants to take the reins one day.

"Stormi is my legacy. I'm raising her to be smart and kind and driven. Maybe she will take over Kylie Cosmetics one day? Only if she wants to," Jenner said in a special edition of tmrw.
