Kyle Richards Says She Prefers Dorit Kemsley as a Blonde: ‘I Kept Thinking, Who Is That Over There?’

Richards appeared on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' alongside former 'RHOBH' star Mellencamp

Kyle Richards thinks Dorit Kemsley’s blonde hair is more fun.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, alongside former RHOBH star and Two Ts In A Pod podcast host Teddi Mellencamp — and the duo certainly spilled some tea.

Near the beginning of the episode, Cohen, 55, mentioned Kemsley’s hair transformation during an interactive segment of “Work! The! Polls!”

“Dorit’s new brunette locks — hot or not? What do you think, Teddi,” Cohen began.

“I think she can pull anything off but I miss the blonde,” Mellencamp, 42, replied.

“I agree,” Richards added. “I liked it on her but I kept thinking, ‘Who is that over there?’ So I prefer the blonde.”

But the guests at the taping disagreed.

“The audience loves it,” Cohen said, referring to 82% of votes that branded Kemsley’s brunette locks as “hot.”

In the “Work! The! Polls!” segment, Richards and Mellencamp also answered the question, “Who’s back Do You think Teddi has more?” between Richards and Mellencamp’s Two Ts In A Pod podcast co-host and The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge.

“Mine,” Richards said, to which Mellencamp agreed, adding, “I love Tamra but I’ve known Kyle longer and our families are so immersed.”

Agreeing with the ladies’ responses, 90% of the audience also voted “Kyle.”

Richards, who served up dominatrix style vibes in a slick high ponytail and black latex dress, revealed on Wednesday’s episode of WWHL that she was the driving force behind her separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky.

"It originated from me, I’ll say," Richards said. The reality star, who married Umansky, 53, in January 1996, shares daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23 and Portia, 15, as well as Richards’ daughter Farrah Brittany (née Aldjufrie), 34, from her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.

Opening up about Umansky being pictured holding hands with his Dancing with the Stars partner Emma Slater, Richards also said on the show, "I love him very much and we are amicable but that really did hurt me."

Richards also addressed rumors that she and country star Morgan Wade were romantically involved, insisting that she's “one of [her] best, best friends in the world.”

“We’re all very close,” the actress said, looping Mellencamp in. “I met [Wade] through Instagram. When we met [in person] the first time, [Mellencamp and I] went together. And then we started a group chat.”

She added that she's learned to ignore the online chatter.

“When I see these things [online], I’m like, 'If she didn’t have all those tattoos, people would not say that.' I’m with my friends all the time. They don’t pay attention [to that]."
