As Kyle Richards planned the now-infamous group trip to Aspen, there was one activity she was most excited for. “It is a rite of passage to go to Kemo Sabe and get a hat,” she declared on the September 14 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, when the time finally came for Kyle to host the shopping experience for her castmates, the guest list unexpectedly changed. (Watch the video above to see what went down.)

Because Erika Jayne was “really upset” about the intense arguments from the night prior, Dorit Kemsley decided to skip Kyle’s event to stay with Erika and Diana Jenkins. As Kyle shares in the clip, that choice “really did not sit well” with her.

During the episode, Dorit went to Kyle’s house later that night to talk through their conflict. However, what viewers didn’t see is that Dorit almost wasn’t allowed inside. “When she showed up at my house, I actually told the crew, ‘I don’t want to see her. Don’t let her in my house,’” Kyle shares. “It was that bad.”

Still, Dorit insisted on speaking with Kyle. “She didn’t want me to come, and I said, ‘There’s no two ways about it. I am showing up,” Dorit explains in the clip above. “This relationship means a lot to me.”

As Kyle put it, Dorit “basically fought her way in” to the house, and looking back, Kyle is happy she did: “I appreciated that she cared about me to come and push her way into my house, even though I didn’t want her in my house, and say, ‘I’m not taking no for an answer.’”
