Get ready to say “ho, ho, ho” because we have an early holiday gift for you as Kyle Richards is ready to get into the holiday spirit again. It’s been announced that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member will appear in the LGBTQ holiday romance film The Holiday Exchange. She confirmed the news on Instagram.

According to Variety, the film also stars Taylor Frey and Rick Cosnett, as well as Camila Banus, Nick Adams, Ashley Fink, and Kyle Dean Massey.

Per the publication, the plot is described as such: “Wilde (Frey) has just sold his company, but facing the holidays as a single man, he decides to swap houses on an LGBTQ app with handsome, Brilfax-bred Oliver (Cosnett). In their efforts to escape their woes, each end up meeting respective handsome locals in the forms of Julius (Samer Salem) and Henry (Daniel Garcia), who will spice up their visits. In the process, romance ignites in both sunny L.A. and a charming, snowy town called Brilfax. Richards stars as Wilde’s lively and involved mother, Lola.”

Kyle is a proud and loving mom to four daughters, so we think she may have some experience to use for the role.

Speaking of holiday-themed movies, Kyle, of course, starred in Peacock’s Housewives of the North Pole (which is streaming now, in case you want to get into the holiday spirit anytime of the year).

The RHOBH mom spoke to Bravo Insider about the flick and her love of the holidays back in 2021. “I mean, anyone who knows me knows that I am obsessed with the holidays,” Kyle said during the film’s junket. “We celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah. And I love to go over the top. So, obviously, I was drawn to that [in this movie]. And I also was just drawn to the fact that it’s just a feel-good movie. It’s a movie about friendship and love and family and young love. And it is just something that makes you laugh and makes you cry and makes you watch with an unbelievable smile on your face. The script was amazing.”

She added, “I’ve also had my tree up since before Thanksgiving. I have my friends and my family for Thanksgiving. But for me, Thanksgiving is amazing. Because it’s like Christmas without having to buy all the gifts for everybody. It’s great,” she said. “We have all the Christmas music going and all that. So, you know, we get an extra Christmas. And we also celebrate Hanukkah. I will celebrate any holiday. I love a holiday.”
