Kyle Richards Explains Why Kathy Hilton's Butler Doesn't Know Her Name

On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills September 1 episode, Kathy Hilton hosted a beautiful dinner party. Although the evening took a dramatic turn, her friends were blown away by the delicious food, stunning tablescape, and Kathy's incredible staff.

"Old school hospitality here at the Hiltons," Lisa Rinna said in an interview. "I don't think anybody in this group has a staff like Kathy has. That's money, honey, right there. That's money." Dorit Kemsley particularly enjoyed the "silver platter [and] white gloves" used to serve appetizers. "It's all so fabulous," she explained.

While Kathy's butler Patrick ensured every detail for the night was crafted to perfection, there was one thing he wasn't quite up to speed on. As he helped the ladies find their assigned seats, he asked Kyle Richards, "Who's Kyle? What is your first name?" to which she responded, "I'm Kyle. I'm Mrs. Hilton's sister."

As Andy Cohen explained on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's September 29 episode, viewers were a bit confused by the moment. "We got a bunch of questions wanting to know why your butler did not seem to know who your sister was," he said to Kathy.

"One of them has been there for years and I know him," Kyle explained. "This one is only there for special events, and he must be on the newer side. So that's why I didn't know Patrick."
