Kyle Richards Has an Exciting Backyard Addition in the Works

Kyle Richards is upgrading her gorgeous backyard with an exciting new addition.

In a September 17 Instagram Story video, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member showed a bare area of the outdoor space where a pickleball court will be in the near future. Kyle and Mauricio Umansky are the latest Bravolebs to be obsessed with the sport. Vanderpump Rules couple Lala Kent and Randall Emmett added a pickleball court their backyard last year, and in January, RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave was waiting to play again after fracturing her foot during a game.

The new court isn't the only big change to Kyle's yard. In her video, she explained, "This is the new grass over here that looks like a chessboard."

Over the years, Kyle has continuously transformed the backyard into an epic space for her family. In addition to the gorgeous pool, tree swing, and soon-to-be pickleball court, the mom of four often brings in some temporary additions for fun-filled moments. In June 2020, she called on floral artist Francesca Blumenfeld and WonderTent parties to create the dreamiest outdoor birthday bash for Alexia Umansky. Two months later, she rented a waterslide from Magic Jump Rentals for a pool day, declaring on Instagram, "This was a hit."

While Kyle's home has many stunning areas, the backyard is especially important to her. As she explained in the video above, "It makes me so happy sitting out here in the morning having my coffee on the porch in my rocking chair, watching my dogs."
