Kyle Richards Details Mauricio Umansky Moving Out of the Family Home

In case you missed it, Mauricio Umansky finally moved out of the home he shared with Kyle Richards and their kids. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple cohabitated for months as their marital issues unfolded on and off reality TV. Kyle previously shared that one got upstairs while the other got a guest room downstairs. That’s not conducive for two people trying to take time apart.

Now that Mauricio is officially out on his own, Kyle is opening up about what it’s like to be separated from her estranged husband. Although she had plenty of time to prepare for this, it still wasn’t easy.

A big, quiet house

Kyle talked about the big move during an appearance on PodcastOne’s The Bitch Bible. According to Kyle, she wasn’t at home when Mauricio officially moved out. She was traveling, so when she returned home, the house was a lot different from how she left it. That’s when it all hit her.

“You know, I’m used to having a lot of chaos and stuff going on around in my house and the day that he moved out was just strange,” Kyle recalled.

According to Kyle, it felt weird being in the house without Mauricio because everything felt “so quiet.” She said even a couple of her employees who are always at the house were gone that day, so it felt extra. Kyle asked herself, “Where is everybody?”

Mauricio wasn’t the only person who moved out. Kyle revealed that Alexia Umansky also moved out recently. Now, it’s just Kyle, Sophia Umansky, and all of those dogs in the house. That’s going to take some getting used to.

“It’s been an adjustment for sure,” Kyle admitted during the podcast.

Meanwhile, Mauricio is living it up in his new condo in West Hollywood. He had been there for a few months but was also spending some of his time at the shared house with Kyle. Now that they’re legitimately in two different households, this separation is more real than ever.
