Kyle Cooke Breaks Down Loverboy Offer to Carl Radke

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard were fighting again on this week’s episode of Summer House. The topic contention was the ongoing conversation between Carl and Loverboy founder Kyle Cooke regarding the former’s return to the company in a limited capacity.

Lindsay was, understandably, pushing her ex-fiance on specifics of the deal. The reality TV star and former publicist was also looking at the big picture, i.e. the money. Carl pushed back with his line of “asking for softness.” The episode ended with a continuation of the argument mid-party.

Kyle’s input in all this was to break down his offer to Carl.

Kyle praised his friend for understanding “the potential” of the offer

While on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen told Carl that “the offer didn’t seem amazing with all due.” The Bravo executive questioned Carl’s willingness to accept the offer, as well as defended Lindsay for her reaction.

After Kyle muttered that Lindsay’s reaction to his offer was “like a drill sergeant,” he continued to defend his position.

“I set the bar low in terms of what I was willing to offer because we’re not just trying to hop back into this intense, you know, role where he has a ton of responsibility. I was trying to make this as no strings attached as possible,” Kyle explained.

“Were you surprised that he was so immediately compliant to the offer?” Andy asked about Carl’s reaction.

“I think that he understands the potential,” the Loverboy founder stated. “The upside is not just the monthly retainer. So there’s a lot more meat on the bone there. And she gets hung up on how much money.”

It’s worth remembering that Carl left Loverboy as VP of Sales feeling overwhelmed and disillusioned. Andy pointed out that “He was also sober selling alcohol. There was a lot going on there.”

Kyle agreed. He concluded, “So we were tiptoeing back in.”

Meanwhile, Summer House fans are split on who to back in this fight.
