Peckham natives Kwengface and SL have linked up over a Nyge-produced track entitled “For One”.

Lifted from Kwengface’s forthcoming project, The Memoir, the track sees the pair bounce off each other seamlessly atop Nyge’s “elegant drill” production. Kwengface’s hard-hitting bars paired with SL’s nonchalant delivery make for a truly captivating listen.

The track’s accompanying visuals were directed by Lutch Media, with Simon Stolland—known for his work on the critically acclaimed Blue Story—on cinematography. Reminiscent of an action film, the video follows a poker game that takes a turn for the worse after the lead’s location is compromised.

Kwengface has had a strong start to 2023, after sending the internet into a frenzy in January with the music video for “Ben10”, shot in Iceland, and then again on the streets of Peckham while on-set for the video for his upcoming single with The Landlord himself, Giggs. With The Memoir due out in April, Kwengface is on track to have a year to remember.
