Kristin Davis is taking a trip down memory lane for her 59th birthday!

On Friday, the Sex and the City alum celebrated herself by sharing a clip from her early days on the steamy comedic drama, which debuted on HBO in 1998.

“I’m nice, I’m pretty, and I’m smart! I’m a catch!” her character Charlotte York said in the scene. Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, agrees with her dear friend’s affirmations.

“Yes, you’re a catch,” Carrie says with a smile.

Earlier this month, Davis spent time at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's Nairobi Nursery in Kenya, where she reunited with an elephant named Ndotto whom she met in November 2014.

"I was at the mud bath, and I didn't realize that the tall, handsome bull standing behind me was Ndotto!" she told PEOPLE exclusively. "Then he lifted his trunk to say hello, and I realized the tiny baby had grown into a majestic bull elephant. I was so amazed and impressed by him. And he still has his sweet personality."

Much like her SATC character, who always had a big heart, Davis added that she could never forget when she “first met” the “sweet and adorable” young animal.

While Davis started her birthday month off traveling, it wasn’t long ago when SATC celebrated a milestone birthday as well! In June, the television series turned 25.

The iconic show ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2004. For years, fans watched the fashion-forward women — Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) — as they navigated their friendships, dating, and careers in the Big Apple.

"The whole entire ride of Sex and the City has been one surprise after another surprise,” Davis told PEOPLE in 2016. “We never thought we would really be a hit. We didn’t think we’d win an Emmy, we didn’t think we’d get to make one film, much less another film.”

Once the series ended, two feature films, Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), were released. So was a brief run of the television prequel, The Carrie Diaries from 2013 to 2014.

In 2021, the SATC gang returned for a new spinoff which saw the women later in life.

Although Cattrall did not reprise her role in season 1, she finally appeared on the series with a cameo in the season 2 finale.

“We didn’t really want the information out,” Davis said in an interview with Today in July. “We wanted it to be a surprise.”

“We want to give the fans what they want. We were trying to figure out a way to do it, and this is the way that kind of made sense with the storyline and the situation,” she added.

Season 2 of AJLT wrapped in September 2023. The show was renewed for a third season.
