The drama between Sex and the City costars Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker has been going on for YEARS now — and not even the other cast members can fix it.

Rumors of tension between SJP and Kim go all the way back to the early days of Sex and the City, specifically revolving around salary.

Despite the situation, the group went on to make several more seasons of Sex and the City and two movies, all amid rumors that the women were fighting.

Although the pair tried to claim things were all good, Kim decided not to take part in a third SATC movie — and then the drama really started heating up.

Woke 2 a @MailOnline 💩storm! The only 'DEMAND' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film....& that was back in 2016

Then, following comments from Kim about not ever being friends with the SATC cast and an Instagram post blasting SJP for expressing sympathy when Kim's brother died, it was clear the drama wasn't going to end.

In fact, when the SATC reboot, And Just Like That..., was announced, Kim apparently wasn't even asked to be a part of the cast.

After the first season wrapped sans Kim, SJP even admitted she wouldn’t be on board if Kim was ever to reprise her role — which Kim later said would "never happen anyway."

Well, it looks like it IS going to happen now...even if it's just a cameo from Kim that was filmed remotely without any of the other cast members.

While Kim and Sarah's other costars have mostly stayed out of the drama through the years, Kristin Davis had something to say after Kim's cameo was announced.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Kristin was asked if she or any of her cast mates still spoke to Kim and she admitted the drama wasn't worth her time.

"You have to respect people’s wishes," she told the outlet. "I’m not gonna waste energy on it."

While she admitted she "can’t change anybody," she noted that she wished she could fix things for the fans.

"I do understand fans’ feelings — that they’re upset…I wish I could fix it, but I can’t. It’s not in my power," Kristin concluded.

It's definitely going to be interesting to see what happens during Kim's cameo — but we won't find out until later this summer.
