She's well known for being one of the most dramatic cast members on shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills. Kristin Cavallari has carved out quite the reality television career, now appearing on her very own show Very Cavallari.
In 2004, Kristin was cast in Laguna Beach, a show that put her and some of her friends on the map, helping them start successful careers. The MTV show followed the drama while they lived, partied, and dated among stunning beaches and houses.
Kristin Moved On To The Hills
After Laguna Beach, Kristin's enemy and former cast mate Lauren Conrad moved to L.A. where she attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and got an internship at Teen Vogue, which was all filmed for her show Laguna Beach.
After Lauren left the show in 2009, Kristin was asked to join and became the main cast member when she made her debut at Spencer and Heidi's wedding.
While the show served to keep her in the public eye, the reality show ended in 2010, and Kristin later appeared on Dancing With The Stars.
Kristin Now Stars In "Very Cavallari"
In April 2018, Kristin's own reality show Very Cavallari premiered, showing her working on her lifestyle brand "Uncommon James."
Kristin recently opened up to PopCulture about her struggle to find content for the show at times. She said, "It's a lot harder. There's this pressure that, probably I just put on myself, to come up with story lines."
It appears things are very different in her life now, compared to all the drama that used to go down on her MTV shows when she was younger.
Kristin Opened Up About The Pressure Of Storylines
The reality star continued "I really don't think my life is that interesting and so it's kind of like banging my head against a wall, like, 'Okay, what can I do, because I know what goes into making a good TV show, but I'm also a mom and a wife now and I can't do the things I used to do back in the day. It's kind of a fine line, so it's hard, to be honest."
Well, a show about a working mom will definitely have very different storylines compared to a show about a group of beautiful teenagers on a beach in California.
Kristin gave some insight into what will happen on the new season of Very Cavallari which premieres on January 9.
She said, "It starts with quite a bang. Unfortunately, for me, you see a fallout with a girlfriend and it's a very heart-breaking thing, but, deciding to do a reality TV show, I've decided I wanted to put everything out there and that's what I was really going through in my life."
It will be interesting to see what storylines appear on season 3, so stay tuned!
