'The Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' alum also maintained that nothing has ever happened between her and Conover's 'Southern Charm' costar Austen Kroll

Kristin Cavallari is getting real about a tipsy dalliance with Southern Charm star Craig Conover.

The Hills alum was grilled about her connections with the Bravo star and his castmate Austen Kroll, with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen asking her on Tuesday night's episode: “What is it there? Did you guys date? Hook up? Friends? Friends with benefits?”

“We were all really good friends for a while and we had a drunk night and we all posted some stupid Instagram dancing around,” said Cavallari, 36, referencing social media posts of them partying in Nashville in 2020 that included one video in which Kroll lifted Cavallari on his shoulders.

“It got all blown out of proportion,” said the former Very Cavallari star.

She clarified that she was “still friends” with the two and that Kroll, 36, was visiting Nashville that week.

She repeated herself: “We’re all friends.”

Cohen, 54, pressed the reality star, saying, “You never hooked up with Craig?”

“I may have been drunk one night and kissed Craig,” she admitted of a minor hookup with the Sewing Down South founder, 34.

The Uncommon James founder has repeatedly denied rumors of a fling with Kroll, initially addressing the chatter in an Instagram Story a few days after the trio's night out.

“I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys,” Cavallari wrote alongside a clip of her rolling her eyes.

In 2021, she set the record straight again about the trio’s relationship, saying, "Let's clear up some gossip bulls---”

“I do not feel like I owe anybody an explanation, normally I don't comment on this stuff, however, these rumors have been going on for about a year now," she said, while tackling the gossip that she was in a "love triangle" with Kroll and Conover, which she claimed were “not true."

"My one and only love triangle was documented in high school," she wrote over a post, referencing her complicated relationships with then-boyfriend Stephen Colletti and Lauren Conrad, which played out on the MTV hit reality show Laguna Beach.

She added, "I've never dated either one of them. I can guarantee that I'm not going to date either one of them," the mother of three explained. "It's possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man, and for that to be it."
