The latest edition of the Sundance Film Festival is ready to kick off in 2024.

On Wednesday, the Sundance Institute unveiled its feature-length programming selected to screen at the 40th annual festival celebrating indie film in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Among the 82 new films and eight episodic titles in the lineup are titles featuring Kristen Stewart, Steven Yeun, Pedro Pascal, Michael Fassbender, Saoirse Ronan and more. A-list talent will be in attendance in-person at the fest, which runs Jan. 18-28 and will also feature online premieres for remote ticket buyers.

Stewart, who has appeared in numerous Sundance premieres throughout her career, leads Love Lies Bleeding, a romantic drama from writer-director Rose Glass that costars Katy O'Brian, Ed Harris, Dave Franco and Jena Malone.

The actress also teams up Yeun — following up the Sundance bow of the award-winning Minari — in Love Me, from filmmaking duo Sam and Andrew Zuchero. Its official logline suggests a romantic drama infused with sci-fi: “Long after humanity's extinction, a buoy and a satellite meet online and fall in love.”

Pascal, meanwhile, stars in Freaky Tales, a “mind-blowing mixtape and joyful ode to the ’80s” from returning Sundance talent Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden of Half Nelson.

Fassbender leads Rich Peppiatt’s Kneecap, while Ronan stars in The Outrun from Nora Fingscheidt.

"From the first edition in 1985, Sundance Film Festival has aimed to provide a space to gather, celebrate, and engage with risk-taking artists that are committed to bringing their independent visions to audiences," said Sundance Institute founder and president Robert Redford in a statement. "It continues to evolve, but its legacy of showcasing bold work that starts necessary conversations continues with the 2024 program."

“Curation is Sundance’s secret sauce and we’re energized by the range of films, stories, and artists we’ve watched and selected from around the world," said Eugene Hernandez, the fest’s director. "This Festival has had a vital history of first impressions: introductions to new talent, new friends, new worlds — our commitment to our artists and our audiences is fundamental to our work.
