US stars Kristen Stewart ("Spencer") and Oscar Isaac ("Dune," "Star Wars") are about to give us a white-knuckle ride through '80s LA in hedonistic vamp thriller "Flesh of the Gods."

In it, they play a married couple who spend their nights weaving their way through the city's electric club scene during the 1980s.

A mysterious acquaintance leads them into Los Angeles' underworld of glamour, pleasure and violence, according to the producers on Thursday.

Canadian Panos Cosmatos directs the film, after bringing us Nicolas Cage who starred in horror flick "Mandy" (2018). "Flesh of the Gods" is a joyride "into the glittering heart of hell," Cosmatos said according to Variety trade magazine.

Filming is scheduled to start later this year, with the script written by Andrew Kevin Walker, who wrote the screenplays for "Seven" (1995) and "The Killer" (2023), and other horror films. The two stars come to the project fresh from similarly gripping material.

"Twilight" star Stewart presented romantic thriller "Love Lies Bleeding" at the Berlinale in February, telling the story of two women whose affair spirals out of control after they meet at the gym. Meanwhile Isaac last starred in the Marvel series "Moon Knight".
