Kristen Doute Hits Back at Body-Shaming Trolls

Kristen Doute is no stranger to controversy. And she can certainly stand her ground when it comes to trolls. Being a reality TV star for as long as she has will do that. But Kristen, currently starring in the Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, had to once again deal with body-shaming trolls.

This latest bout of unfortunate comments came after Bravo released a clip from The Valley. Kristen speaks to her boyfriend Luke Broderick, and haters focused on a certain body part that was on display in the clip.

After the offending language was posted to Bravo’s promo clip, Kristen responded with a post to her Instagram Stories.

“I was asked to be a collaborator on this video and I’ll have to pass,” The Valley star wrote alongside a snap of herself from the video.

“Everyone making comments about my weight, my ‘saggy boobs’ and my body in general — you should really be ashamed of yourselves,” Kristen added. “Could you imagine someone saying this to your girl[friend], wife, sister, mother, daughter?”

Kristen was “sad, disgusted and appalled” by the entire incident. At least some fans defended her against the “really gross” comments about her body.

“She looks amazing & its completely normal for someone to look different than they looked oh I don’t know 10 YEARS AGO,” one follower wrote. Another suggested to “get a grip.”

It was speculated that “Bravo deleted” some of the more unsavory posts. Some fans didn’t see others “commenting on her weight and body.”

“I think they deleted a lot of them (thankfully) because there were a bunch yesterday. people are just so mean & gross,” one speculated.

Recently, Kristen had positive feedback after showing off the results of a bodysculpt procedure. It’s a shame the same trend of body positivity couldn’t be displayed in this case.
