During AEW Double or Nothing, Jade Cargill defeated Taya Valkyrie to narrowly retain her TBS Championship and extend her streak to 60-0. After, Mark Sterling cut a promo and said there’s no one left to challenge Cargill.
Kris Statlander then made her return after 10 months away and an impromptu match was made. After an intense back and forth, Statlander was able to escape Jaded and hit her signature piledriver to become the first person to pin Cargill in AEW. As a result, Statlander becomes the second woman to win the TBS Championship, and Cargill is now 60-1.
After her 60th title defense, TBS Champion @Jade_Cargill's open challenge has just been answered by none other than @callmekrisstat!!!
