Kris Jenner Spends Evening 'Catching Up' with 'My Girl' Mariah Carey — See the Photo!

The 'Kardashians' star said she tried to “convince” the Queen of Christmas that “it’s time” for her annual return

The Queen of Christmas is defrosting — with a little help from Kris Jenner!

Mariah Carey joined Jenner, 67, for dinner on Saturday, and The Kardashians matriarch commemorated the occasion with a selfie — and a sneak peek of their conversation.

“Dinner with my girl @mariahcarey,” Jenner wrote on Instagram, adding that she spent the evening “catching up” with the 54-year-old singer — “and trying to convince her ‘it’s time’!!!!!🎅🏼🎄.”

Along with the selfie, the momager also shared the viral "it's time" video that Carey debuted last year on Oct. 31.

In the now-iconic clip, the singer ditches a witchy costume for Santa-inspired garb, marking the transition from Halloween to the winter holiday season — her season — with a high-pitched, “It’s time!”

Carey and Jenner twinned in the smiley selfie in glowy base makeup, smoky eyes and glossy lips. In the caption, the reality star revealed that their matching moment was no coincidence, crediting the “glam on both of us” to makeup artist Etienne Ortega.

Jenner is not just a fan of Carey’s holiday oeuvre — she is a longtime member of the "Lambily" (Carey's fan base).

Last year, the stars linked up at a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Italy and snapped photos together, which Jenner then shared with a subtle nod to a Carey classic.

Alongside photos of the duo at the July 2022 fashion event, Jenner wrote, “Me and Mariah… Go back like babies with pacifiers,” a reference to the late Ol' Dirty Bastard's verse from the remix of Carey's "Fantasy.”

The singer responded with another lyric from the 1995 track, commenting, “Keepin' fantasies hot like fiiiire 🔥🔥🔥 xoxo 💖.”

Several other celebrities also reacted to the photos on Instagram — including Jenner’s daughter Khloé Kardashian, who wrote three separate comments: "QUEENS," "Ok this is EVERYTHING" and “Are you well? I am not."

More recently, two other members of the Kardashian-Jenner crew paid tribute to the Queen of Christmas.

In February, Kylie Jenner uploaded a TikTok with sister Kim Kardashian to Carey’s then-viral song "It's a Wrap."

In the video, the sisters recreated the viral dance that accompanied the song snippet and then went off-script, with the 26-year-old model sashaying toward the camera before Kim, 43, jumped into her sister’s arms. (Khloé also made a cameo.)

In a different video, Kim and Carey also participated in the trend together — along with their tween daughters, North West, 10, and Monroe, 12.

The girls began the clip by performing a dance routine to the Carey track, and their moms interrupted them by suddenly appearing on either side and singing into hairbrushes.

"Its a wrap! But never for us!" the SKIMS founder captioned the cute mother-daughter TikTok.
